Our mission
Our mission is to move with integrity and work in co-conspiratorship with our community. We are dedicated to accountability, transparency, and advocating for anti-oppressive policies that uplift and empower residents, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
Our vision
We envision a city where social justice and communal care are at the forefront of all decision-making processes. By leveraging our unique blend of leadership experiences and deep commitment to these principles, we aim to build a future where everyone can thrive.
Our Platform
Housing, Food, & Healthcare for All
Fight for every resident's right to safe, affordable, and stable housing. Prevent displacement through rent control and strong tenant rights. Prioritize reliable access to food, healthcare, and holistic wellness.
Economic Justice
Advocate for a living wage and equitable employment opportunities. Ensure economic policies uplift the working class and marginalized communities, rather than corporations and millionares.
Investment in Community Services
Build robust support systems that are community informed and address the root causes of social issues and inequities. Continue to invest in third spaces like community centers, libraries, and parks to cultivate connectedness, wellness, and joy.
Community Engagement & Empowerment
Amplify resident voices by conducting surveys that represent the diversity of the community. Strengthen ties with local organizations, advocacy groups, and activists to build a more connected and responsive city.
Stop Cop City
Oppose the gross misuse of city funds to build a $44 million police headquarters with extravagant features like a 20-lane shooting range (9661 sqft), infrared saunas, sleep pods, recreation room (923 sqft), and virtual reality simulators. Fight against strategic misinformation and advocate for intentional community input on resource prioritization and fiscal investment—especially during massive budget cuts.
Addressing Systemic Barriers
Focus on the needs of those most impacted by systemic barriers, including people who are disabled, undocumented, unhoused, low-income, unemployed, veterans, seniors, or otherwise under-resourced and underserved. Center Black, Indigenous, people of color, queer, trans, women, and system impacted adults and youth.
Education and Youth Empowerment
Invest in schools and community-based programs that offer educational resources, mentorship, and extracurricular activities. Work to address disparities in access to quality education and empower our youth to thrive beyond the classroom.
Environmental Sustainability
Advance policies that confront climate change, reduce carbon emissions, and fire prevention. Support local organizations leading work to protect our planet now and for future generations.
Fiscal Responsibility
Advocate for redirecting funds from unnecessary expenditures to address community priorities and basic needs. Enhance transparency and accountability by ensuring that the city’s financial information is accessible and understandable to all residents.
